ITERVA is a study in passage.
From the Latin iter | Journey, route, passage.
Each ITERVA is an individually composed, numbered original, assembled from natural specimens selected one by one from hundreds of beads for their flash, pattern, color, and character. Each finished piece receives its own provenance record, documenting the materials and identity of that specific artifact, and is backed by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
The stones define ITERVA. Jewelry-grade blue-flash moonstone is selected for strong optical flash, while pietersite is rigorously selected from larger lots, with only a small percentage meeting the standard for movement, color, pattern, and visual intensity required for the composition.
In ITERVA, pietersite carries the visual violence of a storm. Blue-flash moonstone catches light and releases it again. Bodhi seed introduces contemplation and awakening, while Rudraksha brings a lineage of devotional practice and meditation stretching back centuries. Together, the organic elements introduce a human and spiritual counterpoint to stone and metal.
Sterling silver and copper are not present simply as ornament. They are conductors. Silver possesses the highest electrical conductivity of any elemental metal; copper has carried current through the modern world for generations. Even the aluminum provenance bead belongs to the same material language.
Within Ohmyn, that matters.
Stone gives it history.
Seed gives it contemplation.
Metal gives it current.
Ancient material. Spiritual symbolism. Electrical language. Modern engineering.
Every ITERVA follows the same composition: the same materials, counts, dimensions, proportions, and arrangement. Only nature is permitted to alter it. The storm within pietersite, the flash of moonstone, the grain of Bodhi seed—each changes from piece to piece, making every ITERVA individually its own without changing what ITERVA is.
It does not belong to a single tradition. It gathers meaning from many origins and directs them forward.
Many origins. One direction.
ITERVA. Come what may.
Beyond the Composition
ITERVA is an individually assembled CÆRUS composition created from carefully selected natural stone, sterling silver, copper, Bodhi seed, Rudraksha, and aluminum, bringing mineral, organic, and conductive materials together within a fixed design.
The stones are selected to a deliberately exacting standard. ITERVA uses jewelry-grade blue-flash moonstone chosen for the strength, clarity, and movement of its optical flash. Its pietersite is selected individually from larger lots; only a fraction of the material we receive exhibits the combination of color, pattern, chatoyance, and visual intensity required for the composition.
Selection happens bead by bead rather than strand by strand. Specimens that technically meet the material description but do not meet the visual standard are rejected. The result is a limited pool of material worthy of becoming ITERVA—which is why every finished artifact is photographed, numbered, and documented individually.
Because these are natural materials, coloration, pattern, inclusions, and optical effects will vary from one artifact to another. That variation is part of the identity and provenance of the individual piece.
Bodhi seed and Rudraksha form the organic heart of the composition. Bodhi seed carries long associations with contemplation, awakening, and the inward journey. Rudraksha has been used for centuries within Hindu devotional and meditative traditions, giving it a distinct spiritual lineage of its own. Their natural surfaces, tonal variation, and individual character provide an organic counterpoint to the polished stone and conductive metals surrounding them.
The use of sterling silver and copper is equally intentional. Silver is the most electrically conductive elemental metal, while copper is one of the world's most important practical conductors. Within Ohmyn's language of Potential → Current → Ground, these materials give physical expression to Current: movement, transmission, and energy passing from one state to another.
Each ITERVA is produced according to one established composition rather than treated as a loose style or assortment. Material types, bead sizes, counts, proportions, and arrangement remain fixed.
The design remains constant. The materials never do.
Natural variation is not a deviation from the composition. It is part of the provenance of the individual artifact.
Created for the space between the windshield and the rearview mirror, CÆRUS occupies the threshold between what has passed and what lies ahead.
ITERVA was made for that exact place.
